400 Atlanta Teens Attend JSU Jewish Unity Overnight

Dec 31, 2017

JSU hosted Atlanta’s largest Jewish teen event of the year, as over 400 Atlanta teens from 54 local schools attended JSU’s annual JEWISH TEEN UNITY overnight, The ALL NIGHTER.

The event opened with a moving havdalah ceremony led by JSU teen leaders, and included words of inspiration from Executive Director, Rabbi Chaim Neiditch. Then, everyone hit the track for a JSU club presidents’ race on the go-karts. Teens stayed wide awake with activities including Andretti’s extreme ropes course, rock climbing wall, bowling alley and unlimited access arcade! An alumnus joined the party to DJ simcha dancing and music in the sky lounge which lasted early into the morning.

For many teens this was their first time at a Jewish program outside of school. The All-Nighter was a chance for teens to make Jewish friends and bond with staff brining the entire Atlanta Jewish teen community closer together.
